How did “Advocate Hospice” Get its Name?
One evening Dwight was discussing the new venture with his brother-in-law. The conversation turned to the need for just the right name. His brother-in-law, who is a minister, suggested “Advocate” because it means “helper” or “someone who supports and defends another.” Dwight and Linda agreed that the name accurately describes the underlining mission of Advocate Hospice to support hospice patients and their families.
